During an intercourse, prior to ejaculation of the semen, the prostate gland secretes alkaline fluid. This alkaline fluid and it protects the semen from the acetic liquid in the female's vaginal track, it safes the semen from killing by acetic liquid. But some of the females' vaginal track is with no any acetic liquid.

Its main function is only it protects the semen. The name ‘Prostate' is a Greek word. In Greek language, its mean by to secure and safe. It means ‘do it secure from the front'. Same like during the intercourse, Prostate secrets alkaline fluid, this liquid moves through the vaginal track towards ovary and it follows semen moves towards the ovary of the female in the vaginal track. Prostate is located in the base of the urethra and it is functioning as males' sexual hormones as properly. It is related to semen, but not as like semen in this alkaline fluid no any sperms.

What Does The Prostate Do It plays a major role. Prostate is a muscular sexual organ. The prostate is one of the male's reproductive systems and its size is like walnut. Sometimes, in the prostate, by some of the inflammatory particles may be affect the prostate. ‘Prostatitis' is an inflammation in the prostate gland. If the prostate and it becomes an enlarged, it blocks the free of urine flow or the enlarged prostate makes very painful urination or difficult urination. Intake of some of the antibiotics, this problem will be easily solved.

In old aged man, probably sometimes the prostate may grow.  Due to this urination difficult or impossible urination will be arise. This is benign prostatic hyperpleasia (bpH). This can also easily treat and cure through prescribe some of the medicines or through the surgery. The transurethral prostate resection is a common surgery and this type of surgery is using in some of the cases.

What Does The Prostate Do in this, prostatic alkaline fluid, the volume of the fluid may be vary. While prior ejaculating the semen, the volume is more or less. But it is function as to make safe or secure the sperms in the semen.
